This statement has always resonated with Modern Hangover as a guiding principle to strive for uniqueness. Modern Hangover is and aims to always be, different from the swarm of other e-commerce websites that abound the ecosystem currently. We do this by focusing on offering unique, quality, and new-to-market products at a lower cost than what is available with traditional retailers.
Our story began when our founder, Rakeshkumar Jain, envisioned the idea of creating an e-commerce website even before it was a thing.
Rakesh had a long history and experience of working in the IT industry. He even gained some experience of retail by helping his father in family fabric business. In the early 2000s, when the world was just getting acquainted with the idea of the internet, Rakesh wanted to create an online platform to sell products, but the idea was in its infancy back then. The idea of creating an e-commerce marketplace came to a stand-still when Rakesh realized, after working in the process of product branding, that there was a gap between having the right products and the right marketing platforms. Soon, he realized that he was not alone and many budding entrepreneurs faced the same challenge.
Several years later, the world had welcomed e-commerce with both arms and the industry was now ripe with a diverse set of established players as well as newcomers. However, while there were several e-commerce retailers now, they were all offering similar products. There were hardly any e-commerce retailers who provided unique or one-of-a-kind products. To address this gap, Modern Hangover was founded on 15th November 2018. Now that ordering products from online retailers have become part of life, Rakesh and our team plan to drive Modern Hangover to greater heights by delivering premium and unique products to a larger audience in the country.

How are we different?

What differentiates Modern Hangover from other e-commerce giants is that we have a special sales module which enables customers to buy premium and one-of-a-kind products at a great price. Under this module, we offer products on sale and pre-sale. In the former, customers are offered discounts for products offered on sale. In the latter, a higher discount is offered for products ordered through advance booking. Our aim is to delight customers by providing them with quality and unique products throughout India.

Modern Hangover is a company that will work as a one-stop platform for off-beat, unique and premium products at justifiable prices for the whole of India. Our goal is to offer the best products to customers and also assist vendors to market their unique products on our unique e-commerce website.
